DETAILS OF THE TOUR 

J 1: Delhi Mathura - Agra [200 km]
Departure for Mathura, birthplace of Krishna God. Route for Agra. Visit of the city.

 

J 2: Agra - Gwalior [120 km]
Early morning visit of Taj Mahal. Road for Gwalior. Visit of the fort. 

 

J 3: Gwalior - Orchha [120 km]
Free visit of the Palace. Route for Orchha, free visits of the temples, the cenotaphs at the edge of the river and the palace.

 

J 4: Orchha - Khajuraho [180 km]
Free visit of the imposing fortress. Route in direction of Khajuraho. 

 

J 5: Khajuraho
Visit of the temples.

 

J 6: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh [210 km]
Departure in direction of the national park of Bandhavgarh. Approximately 450 km ² of hills of forests and bamboo plantations, as of the prehistoric caves shelter tigers, leopards, bear and other animals, just as more than 200 species of birds. Accommodation in the park.

The park is open November 1 to July 1.

 

J 7: Bandhavgarh

J 8: Bandhavgarh - Bhedaghat [160 km]
Departure in direction of Bhedaghat. Visit in boat of the Marble Rocks.

 

J 9:  Bhedaghat - Kanha [175 km]
Departure for the national park of Kanha. A marvelous place where observing the fauna. In this park, which is certainly the most beautiful in India, you will be likely even more to see tigers since they are numerous there. Accommodation in the reserve

The park is open November 1 until mid-May.

 

J 10: Kanha
Day dedicated to the park. Accommodation in the reserve

 

J 11: Kanha - Pachmarhi [337Km]
Route for Pachmarhi, one of most beautiful natural spaces in India: Night in hotel. 

J 12: Pachmarhi - Omkareshwar

Route for Omkareshwar, important center of pilgrimage where the hills form the mystic syllable “OM”, the paramount sound of the Indians. Discovered these two sites with many temples attended by a pilgrims, walk on the animated ghats. 

J 13: Omkareshwar - Maheshwar - Mandu [96 km]

Sun raising on the boat this takes you along on the river of Narmada to discover Hindus ritual morning Hindus. Departure for Mandu via Maheshwar: famous artisan village for its silk saris and its brocarts. 

J 14: Mandu  

Departure for Mandu also named “of the joy”, one of the most romantic sites in India, known for its legendary love story between the king Bahadur and the beautiful Rupmati. Discovered old capital of a kingdom whose princes, savage warriors, were enthusiast of art and poetry. Visit of the marvelous palace, baths, houses and mosques. Night in hotel. 

J 15: Mandu - Indore - Ujjain [156 km]

Route for Indore. Visit of the city, continuation to Ujjain.  

J 16: Indore - Ujjain [56 km]

Visit of the one of the most venerated Indian cities: the temple of Mahakaleshwar Mandir, dedicated to Shiva, is most important of the city, the temple Harsiddhi Mandir, Gopla Mandir. Possible walk on the ghâts. Every twelve years, it is here that Kumbh Mela is held, one of the largest religious gatherings of the country where thousands of excessively pious people bathe in Shipra.  

J 17: Ujjain - Bhimbetka - Bhopal [200 km]

Route for Bimbetka; visit of the caves and route for Bhopal.  

J 18:  Bhopal - Sanchi - Bhopal [100 km]
Visits of the famous stupas of Sanchi.,classified by UNESCO. Back to Bhopal. Visit of the city.

 

J 19:  Bhopal - Delhi (plane)

Transfer to the airport, take-off for Delhi. Night in hotel or transfer in airport.
