The Rajasthan with its forts, palaces and gardens is a gigantic museum in the open air in which continues to live the sumptuous style of the Maharajahs.
It is also a mosaic of landscapes: dunes of the desert, covered hills of forests dominated by the imposing fortresses of the rajputs lords, hunting reserve of the palace having given rise to marvelous natural parks, lakes.
This vast state conceals artistic treasures among most beautiful of the country. The craft industry of the Rajasthan has a long tradition. It borrowed in particular much from the Islamic art brought during the Moguls invasions.
At least, the color, essential component of the life of Rajasthan people is omnipresent; it will be one of your more beautiful memories of this voyage.
J 1: Delhi - Shekhawati: Alsisar OR Mukundgarh [5/6 H - 240 km]
Departure early morning for Shekhawati. Route until Alsisar or Mukungarh. Transfer and night in hotel
J 2: Shekhawati - Desnoke- Bikaner [4/5 H - 200 km]
Visit of Mandawa. Route for Bikaner, the pearl of Rajasthan. Stop in Desnoke for the visit of the temple of the Rats. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 3: Bikaner - Jaisalmer [7 H - 330 km]
Long road in the middle of the desert of Thar. Arrival in afternoon time in Jaisalmer. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 4: Jaisalmer - Osiyan [5 H - 230 km]
Visit of Jaisalmer,in the middle of the arid desert.After the lunch, route for Osiyan. Transfer and night in the camp.
J 5: Osiyan - Jodhpur [1 H - 60 km]
Departure for Jodhpur. Visit of the fort Meherangarh . Transfer and night in hotel.
J 6: Jodhpur - Rohet OR Bhadrajun OR Luni [1 H - less than 50 km]
Discovered tortuous streets of the blue city. Route for the villages of Rohet or Bhadrajun or Luni, according to the choice of the hotel. Night in one of the forts.
J 7: Village (according to the hotel of the day before) - Ranakpur - Kumbalgarh - Sardargarh - [250 km]
Short stop in Ranakpur and its temple jaïn of Adinath. Route for Kumbalgarh and visit of the fortress. Road for Sardargarh, night in the fort.
J 8: Sardargarh - Udaipur [2 H - 94 km]
Visit of “Venice of the East”. Possibility of excursion in boat on the lake Pichola, visit of the Palace and the commercial bazaars. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 9: Udaipur - Nadga- Eklingji- Nathdwara - Khempur
Route for Nadga, visits of the temples. Then road for Eklingji and its temple of Shiva, stop in Nathdwara, visit of the Krishna’s temple and its famous black statue. Routefor Khempur. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 10: Khempur - Chittorgarh - Tonk
Route for Chittorgarh, visit of the fortress, then route for Tonk. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 11: Tonk- Pushkar
Route for Pushkar, small peaceful village built around a holy lake, high-place of pilgrimage for the Hindus. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 12: Pushkar - Roopangarh [1 H - 40 km]
After lunch, departure for Roopangarh. Visit of the village. Transfer and night in the fort.
J 13: Roopangarh - Jaipur [2 H - 120 km]
Route for Jaipur, the pink city. Visit of the old city. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 14: Jaipur
The morning, visit of the Amber’s Fort.Rest of the dau at leisure. Night in the palace.
J 15: Jaipur- Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Departure for Fatehpur Sikri, to 40 km in the West of Agra. Route for Agra, visit of the Red Fort. Transfer and night in hotel.
J 16: Agra - Mathura - Delhi [200 km]
Early morning, visit of Taj Mahal. Departure for Mathura, birthplace of Krishna. Route for Delhi. Night in hotel or transfer to the airport.
