In two weeks, this circuit proposes a discovery of central India and several places that belong to Buddhism and Hinduism’s history: Ajanta, Ellora, Khajuraho, Nalanda or Varanasi, the holy city. A tour through the centuries among the temples, sculptures, frescos and palaces which made the glory of India.....

Assitance at airport. Overnight in hotel.J 2: Delhi- Aurangabad
Transfer to the domestic airport and flight for Aurangabad. Transfer in hotel and beginning of the sightseeing. Overnight in hotel.J 3: Aurangabad – Ellora - Aurangabad (4 H)
Exploring of this exceptional area with the site of Ellora. Visit of ten Buddhists temples, Hindus caves and of five sanctuaries jaïn, famous for their sculptures and engravings, and the temple of Ghrishneshwar (temple dedicated to Lord Shiva). In the afternoon, back to Aurangabad. Visits the Bibika Makbara (copy of the Taj Mahal) and the canals of Panchakki (dating from 17th century).J 4: Aurangabad – Ajanta –Buswal – Bhopal (3 H)
Route for d'Ajanta, high cultural palce in India. Visit of the Buddhist caves and monasteries built between IInd century before JC and VIIth century after JC. The caves conceal sumptuous frescos representing scenes of the life of Buddha. Visit of the temple of Bhodjpur, then the rupestral frescos of Bhimbethka (dating of more than 9000 years) and the caves of Udaigiri (V century after JC). Return to Bhopal in late afternoon. Discover the old city. Overnight in hotel.J 6: Bhopal – Sanchi (2 H)
Route for Sanchi. Visit of the large stupa built between IIIrd and IInd century before JC. Also visit of the column of Ashoka, of the museum of Sanchi.
